Grammar item - reflexive pronouns:
In this unit, you have learned the structure 'by + reflexive pronoun'. This is used to talk about somebody does something without other people's help.

Examples:  Amy could tie her shoelaces by herself when she was four.
           
                    My brother and I can go to school by ourselves now.

Remember the subject and the reflexive pronouns are referring to the same people. The following table summarises the relationships between the subjects and the reflexive pronouns.
